“March is reading month” was a huge success at Howard Elementary School!
- Our students exceeded their goal of 200,000 reading minutes by accumulating a grand total of 230,000 reading minutes in the month of March!
- Because they exceeded their goal, they were treated to a visit by “Batman” (AKA Mr. Blessing)
- We had many guest readers from parents, extended family, and other everyday heroes!
- Bingo-for-Books was a huge success. With many students and parents attending. Everyone enjoyed the yummy hot dogs donated to our PTA by El-Sayed meats. Every student won at least one book and many left with their hands full of books! It was a great evening , and hopefully it inspired our students to read even more!
- Every day our wonderful teachers and staff work hard to inspire our students and help them achieve academically!
- Our PTA continues to amaze us with an incredible amount of support for our students!
