RACE DAY GUIDE
1st Annual Howard Dragon’s Color Run is this Saturday, April 28th!
A few reminders and some info leading up to the race.
Due to the number of runners and volunteers we will have along the route, you MUST be registered to run and you must be visibly wearing your race bib to be allowed on the route. Due to the safety of others, if you are not registered to run you WILL NOT be allowed to run alongside your child/family/friends. There will be no exceptions to this.
PACKET PICK UP
Packet Pick-Up will be at Howard Elementary School
1611 N. York, Dearborn, MI 48128
Friday, April, 27th 3 – 6pm
Packet Pickup time on Race Day Saturday, April, 28th 7:30 – 8am
We strongly encourage ALL participants to make time to pick up these items on Friday, April 27 because of how many people we have registered this year as it will make everything run more efficiently. However, if you are completely unable to make it on Friday, race-day pickup will be available. At packet pick-up you will receive your t-shirt, race bib, color packet(s) (if you ordered extra), and raffle ticket.
***Remember to bring your e-tickets that where emailed to you after registering.***
Please note there is NO ON-SITE PARKING the day of the event at Howard Elementary since the roads will be blocked off. For your convince we will have a shuttle bus that will be taking participants every 15 minutes during the time period of 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. from the Dearborn High School parking lot located at 19501 W Outer Dr, Dearborn, MI 48124
RAFFLE TICKET DRAWING
1 Raffle ticket is included in every participant’s packet. If you would like to purchase additional raffle tickets you can buy them at packet pick-up or the Howard booth event day. This is a cash only purchase. Each ticket is $2 and you must be present at the time of the drawing to collect your winnings. The drawing will be held at 10:30 am. There are over 3 dozen prizes to be raffled off.
The color packets will be used for the finish line mass color throw. This creates the infamous color cloud. This is where you’ll want to use the color pack you received in your race packet. If you have used your color pack, or would like to purchase additional color, we will have a very limited quantity for sale at packet pick-up on Friday, April 27. First come… first serve! Cash only.
RACE DAY PHOTOS
Images are available within a few hours of the event. Be sure to go to gregsadlerphotography.com to get all of your race day images absolutely FREE!! Each image can be downloaded and instantly shared to social media with a simple click.

8:30am– Food Truck Rally: Grillwich tot Stop, Shimmy Shack, Bearclaw Coffee Co., & Chicken Coupe Chicken & Waffles
8:30am– Blue Crow Talent Circus Troupe: Aerial Show, Fire Breathers, Jugglers, Unicyclist, and Stilt Walker
8:30am– Channel 955 Promotions Team
9:00am– Race Begins
9:30am– Fire Engine & Rescue Crew
10:30am– Raffle Ticket Drawing
12:00pm– Clean-Up Begins
