Zoom and Chromebook Issues

Hello Howard Families,

Happy first day of school! We are aware that there were technical difficulties for many classes this morning and apologize for the inconvenience. The Howard staff understands that their may be some frustration but we are truly doing our best to reach out to parents and respond to emails with questions and/or concerns. The technology department is aware of the glitches and is working hard to get this resolved. We ask for your patience and understanding as we transition into a remote start of a school year. This week is a soft start and we anticipate some logistically/technical issues as we navigate this new platform together. To best serve your needs efficiently, please communicate with your child’s teacher via email if you do not have a zoom link and/or passcode. Please also make sure that your child is logging into Zoom using his/her Dearborn Public Schools email account when logging on.

If students have any problems using Chromebooks, please call the DPS help desk at 313-827-3003.
