We are proud to announce Howard will be participating in the Battle Against Hunger (click for information) starting next week through November 19th. Please send in non-perishable boxed food items or canned food items to your child’s teacher. You can also send cash donations to the office or your child’s teacher. Checks can be made out to the Amity Foundation or Gleaners Food Bank.
To encourage students, teachers will be keeping track of how many items their students have donated. The winning classroom will receive cider and donuts. But the even bigger prize is knowing Howard students are empathetic and generous to those who are less fortunate!
