Just before the holiday break, the district released Episode 12 of its School Matters podcast.
This eight minute episode features Superintendent Glenn Maleyko speaking with Director of Communications David Mustonen about the upcoming Operating Millage Renewal. The Operating Millage accounts for $41 million for the district, which is 16 percent of the general fund revenue. This money is used for everyday expenses including staff, classroom materials, extra curricular activities, utilities and more.
The Operating Millage is up for renewal on the Feb. 27 ballot.
